What do Carmen do?
They are first and foremost a Fellowship.
Like the Corporation of the City of London, the Carmen support no political party. They are non-partisan, apolitical, non-lobbying: the quiet voice of transport.
The Carmen take the long view, and reflect their industry objectively, from time to time offering opinion or advice. Collectively, they represent the industry's statesmen.
The Carmen like to give - charity is a priority.
As a progressive, forward thinking body, they hold Carmen Lectures - constructive and relevant.
They reward merit - Carmen Awards recognise the achievement, contribution and innovation of individuals and companies.
Carmen Functions take place throughout the year - Awards at Mansion House, Cart Marking at Guildhall, in Church or Hall, in London or the regions, Carmen and their friends enjoy the best of good fellowship.
