To be a Carman

To be a Carman, write to the Clerk. He will send you details of what is expected, and what is on offer. The Carmen's Company is not a closed shop, but neither is it an open club for anyone. Carmen regard membership as a privilege, guard it well, but welcome as Freemen, Liverymen and Apprentices, those who care to serve, like to give, and respect the City.

The programme varies each year; a current calendar can be supplied against request, with stamped addressed envelope.

The Carman: a newsletter published 3 times a year

A four page, full colour 'magazine', this publication does not carry advertising, but reports the Carmen's events and personalities, with comment columns, three times a year a year, in Spring, Summer and Winter. It also is available from the Clerk by stamped addressed envelope.
