Apprentices - Back to the future
Carmen have always welcomed apprentices, since the earliest days. In the new Millennium, policy has focused on recruiting outstanding young people.
Apprentices are drawn from the families of Carmen, the three schools the Company supports, and award winners, as well as those recommended by the industry.
Invariably, apprentices elect to exercise their right to become free of the Company, and Carmen see the future of the Company enhanced by their enthusiasm.
Apprentices have an annual event, plan to organise their own committee and make an increasing contribution, as stewards at Cart marking, playing music at events, and helping to raise charitable funds.
